Morel Hunting 2014

Finally, a day for a walk in the woods again. I went seeking morels and found a pair of Scarlet Tanagers, a couple pairs of Orioles, a Turkey, a deer, two Turkey Vultures and a frog. There were lots of Jack-in-the-pulpits, May apples, and ferns,and a few wood violets. While cutting vines off of trees, I almost stepped on a morel, then saw three others. In the end, I found six total and enjoyed a perfect day in the woods. See my photos.
