Lots of berries, buckthorn, japanese pokeweed, burning bush, and ash seedlings in the trail. Got the chainsaw working for a bit, then stopped itnto chatnwith nextdoor neighbors and couldn't get it restarted.
Found out that Barry Olson passed in February this year. That explains the unmowed yard.
Stopped at the shop first to get the walnuts Dad collected for me. Now, I need to figure out what to do with them.
